If you’re looking for a way to transform a mundane substrate into a stunning piece of work, then take a look at these two veneer packs – both offer a great introduction to veneering and are ideal for use on a variety of small projects
It’s amazing how a paper-thin piece of timber can transform a mundane substrate into a stunning piece of work and if you fancy having a dabble at the fine art of veneering, these packs from The Veneer Hub are certainly a great way of buying a variety of materials to get you started.
Veneer pack options
Depending on your choice, there’s the Coloured Pack with one leaf each of tulip wood in 11 vibrant colours, while the Ultimate Timber Pack has 18 pieces with a minimum of eight different species provided. Although both packs are promoted as more suited to marquetry these are also ideal for smaller projects, such as jewellery boxes and the like, and with each pack containing decent sized veneers with a fair few in each at around A4-sized, there’s ample opportunity to create a nice sized piece of your choice.
