IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED, try, try again! This old saying is particularly applicable to Anthony and Angela, the owners of this home in the leafy, Waterview suburb of Kangaroo Point, Sydney. They built the property in 2011 but came to realize over the years that they hadn’t entirely nailed it. The layout didn’t have the easy flow they desired, many of the surfaces were far from child-friendly and there was a lack of a cohesive style throughout. One day, while shopping in furniture store Jardan and struggling to make any decisions, they resolved to redesign their home to better suit their needs. The team at Jordan gave them the names of some interior designers, and they quickly decided on Sonja Kritzler Design, thanks in part to Sonja’s collaborative approach. “It was important for them to be involved in the design process,” says Sonja, “and we met regularly to ensure we were all on the same page.”
