The patio furniture featured here, including the Stockholm three-seater bench and Java lounge chair, was purchased from ParcHaus. The products are manufactured from solid teak wood and full aluminium frames. The water- and UV-resistant cushions feature 100% olefin fabric that has an incredibly soft touch while being fully resistant to outdoor conditions. Specialising in patio furniture, ParcHaus also supplied 10 outdoor dining chairs from its Matinique range to create a fully functional patio area that is guaranteed to offer these residents a great time outside.
Warm, inviting and trendy, this home has it all, and then some. The inspiration behind this masterpiece was the children. “We wanted a space close to work and the school that our kids attend. The home had to offer a place where they could play soccer, build a tree house, shoot with their crossbows, play fantasy games, have pool parties, play video games and have movie nights with their friends and us – all under the watchful eyes of parents,” recalls the owner.
She adds that they also wanted a home that reminded them of the bush, a place where they could “have a beautiful G&T, while sitting around a campfire against the backdrop of the setting sun”. It is no wonder this property is considered this family’s “little piece of Africa”.
