The Indian Photography FestivalHyderabad will be held between 19 November to 19 December. The festival will be presented in a hybrid format which will include online talks as well as physical exhibitions and digital installations in the city. This year, the main highlight of the festival will be its free of charge Mentorship Program for photographers in India. The photographers included in this year’s roster of speakers include Roger Ballan, Martin Parr, Linda Bournane Engelberth, Arati Kumar Rao, Divya Cowasji, Harsha Vadlamani, Rut Blees Luxemburg, Siva Sai Jeevanantham, Karen Dias, Ruhani Kaur, Sharbendu De, and Sathyaprasad Yachendra. Alena Zhandarova She holds an MFA in Photography (European Institute of Design, IED Madrid, Spain). Using photography as the main instrument of interaction with space, Alena creates an atmosphere of magic that builds on experimentation and the fresh air of ordinary things in unusual situations. In 2020, she was shortlisted in the Zeiss Photography Awards, and was a finalist at the Lucie Foundation Scholarship, Lens Culture Student Photography Award, PhotoVisa Festival, amongst others.
