52nd Annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade
The Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade, the largest parade of its kind in the world, celebrated 52 years on October 30, 2016. This one of-a-kind parade is the longest running in the Coachella Valley. Not only is the parade much more than a fun, colorful and festive event, it serves as a completely unique vehicle for bringing the community together! Our desert tradition began in 1961 and was traditionally held in the summer months for the locals. Now, the Golf Cart Parade is held on the last Sunday in October and has now been deemed the “unofficial kickoff to the season”, drawing more than 25,000 spectators to the Valley from all over the world.
