Intel’s struggles in the refinement of its chip-manufacturing process have been well documented. Repeated manufacturing problems in recent years have delayed its ability to shrink its chips through several different sizes of process node, eroding its technological lead. This has allowed rivals, chiefly AMD, to leapfrog Intel in both the consumer desktop and mobile processor space.
Which brings us to the ASUS TUF Dash F15, one of the first gaming notebooks to come with the Intel 11th Gen Core i7-11370H, a Tiger Lake-based H-series processor. It’s also the first gaming notebook to come with NVIDIA’s newest RTX 30-Series mobile GPU, the choice of either a GeForce RTX 3070, or the newer but entry-level GeForce RTX 3050 Ti. Having these high-end parts is interesting, because it uplifts the TUF brand.
I’ve always found the older TUF notebooks to look garish in comparison to the sleeker models from ROG. With the TUF Dash F15 (let’s just call it TUF F15), ASUS opted for a complete revamp. It has a slimmer and more confident look than its predecessors ever had. In fact, it reminds me a lot of the older ROG Zephyrus series of notebooks. The lid is gunmetal grey with a nice and polished feel to it, while the inside is black and made from an all-plastic mould.

SO SMALL, SO CUTE. HAIYOOO...
As giant triple-slot GPUs dominate the market, Gigabyte's RTX 5060 OC Low Profile stands out as a rare compact option that delivers full-sized performance. It fits small-form-factor builds, matches larger cards in most games, and sips power - with higher thermals the only real trade-off.

SMALL WRIST, BIG DISPLAY
In my previous review of the Pixel Watch 3, I expounded on why 45mm was the perfect size for Google's smartwatch. Naturally, when the Pixel Watch 4 was announced, Google sent me the 41mm version instead. And guess what? I've grown to love it.

A RETURN TO FORM
After the catastrophe of Battlefield 2042, expectations for EA and DICE's next entry couldn't have been lower. But Battlefield 6 is a grounded, stable, and gloriously chaotic return to form that reminds players why they fell in love with the series in the first place.

CHAOS, BUT FINALLY FUN AGAIN
Borderlands 4 shouldn't have won me over-but it did. Gearbox's latest entry dials back the noise, sharpens the chaos, and rekindles the fun at the series' core, delivering a leaner, faster, surprisingly addictive return to form.

STILL GREAT, BUT SMALL UPGRADES
Apple's new Watch lineup – the Ultra 3, Series 11, and SE 3 – looks exciting at first glance, but most of the upgrades are incremental. For recent owners, it's a year of refinement rather than reinvention.
