What’s your background in mental health care?
I’ve been a counsellor for over 30 years and, seeing a need, set up my stress and wellbeing consultancy in 1987. Stress wasn’t talked about then, unlike today. Today we provide resilience and stress management training and have an employee counselling team. More than ever before, people need support to manage the challenges caused by Covid-19.
You head up the UK branch of the International Stress Management Association, tell us about that.
