Kinderland explains how it provides preschoolers of every age with optimal nutrition while at school.
Designed with variety, balance and moderation in mind, Kinderland’s lunch menus comprise colourful fruits and vegetables, wholesome grains as well as meat and dairy products. In addition to using fresh ingredients and limiting salt and sugar, Kinderland’s team only uses healthy cooking methods such as boiling, steaming and light stir-frying or sauteing with unsaturated cooking oils.
“We educate preschoolers and parents to eat a balanced and healthy diet using the Health Development Board’s ‘My Healthy Plate’ as a guide,” says Kua Jo Ann, Kinderland’s Food, Nutrition and Hygiene specialist.
