The Kid Brother Has Arrived
Malcolm Stewart didn’t burst onto the pro racing scene with the same immediate success as his older brother, James, but that doesn’t make his first professional championship any less sweet. Five years after making his pro debut at the age of 18, “Mookie” realized his dream of becoming a Supercross champion by earning the 2016 AMA Supercross 250SX East Championship. Together, he and James hold a spot in the record books as the first siblings to have both captured Supercross titles. The GEICO Honda rider has been a fan favorite ever since he arrived. Less reserved than his big brother, Malcolm is outgoing, funny, and downright entertaining it’s better to just let him talk when it comes time to put pen to paper:
Champion
Champion. Champion. I love the sound of that word. It still sounds weird to me because it’s been a long time since I won a championship as an amateur. While walking through the casinos on the Sunday after the Las Vegas Supercross, people were like “Hey, Champ!” I would look over my shoulder to see whom they were talking to. Even now it hasn’t sunk in yet, but winning a professional championship for the first time is amazing.

Yamalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Cooper Webb is one of the grittiest riders in the sport, and there’s never any doubt about the effort and aggression he puts forth on the racetrack.
