I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and to let you know what a great bunch of people we have within Hampshire History Hunters (HHH).
Some of you may remember I wrote an article last year in Treasure Hunting magazine on how detecting has changed my life and helped me cope with day to day living after being diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I discovered that taking up detecting as a hobby has vastly improved my wellbeing by allowing me a safe and therapeutic way to explore and express my anxieties and fears connected with PTSD. We at HHH aim to promote this within the Veteran’s community.
