Whatever the environment that you operate in, there’s a suitable G-Shock timepiece from Casio’s Master of G range to accompany you.

Mastering The Elements

Designed and conceived to embody toughness, the G-Shock’s raison d’être is to withstand shocks and vibrations. Casio has never strayed from this. Instead, the brand has built upon this single trait to offer a bewildering range of G-Shock timepieces over the years, and evolved the G-Shock from a model into a fully-fledged sub-brand in and of itself. There is now a G-Shock for almost every need and occasion. The female-centric Baby-G line, for instance, has overtly feminine designs decked in dainty hues such as pastel pinks and blues, and comes sized for smaller wrists. The G-Steel, on the other hand, are steel-clad watches that offer a decidedly different look and feel compared with “traditional” models with resin cases. Topping out the G-Shock range are premium Oceanus, MR-G, and MT-G models that embody the crème de la crème of Casio’s design and technical capabilities.

The G-Shock’s inherent toughness and ability to integrate other timekeeping and miscellaneous functions lends itself well to specialised models for different professionals. Enter the Master of G. This collection has watches equipped to perform in one of three distinctly different environments – sea, air and land – with unique functions relevant to each. The timepieces share similarities though, beginning with a common water resistance of 200m. Most models in the Master of G range also have Casio’s Tough Solar Power technology, which uses light to power its rechargeable battery. Finally, the majority of the watches are also capable of automatic time setting via the reception of terrestrial time calibration signals.
