After Years of Loneliness, Tom Cruise Has Finally Fallen for a New Woman: His Mummy Costar Annabelle Wallis

Ever since his surprising split from Katie Holmes in 2012, Tom Cruise has struggled to find a good partner. As a source close to the 54-year-old action hero explains, “Every so often, he’d go on a date, but there was no one that he could really see himself with. So instead, he’d go back to burying himself in his work.”

It’s ironic, then (or perhaps it isn’t, when one considers his history of dating costars, including Nicole Kidman and Penélope Cruz) that it was at work where Tom met the woman with whom sources say he is now totally smitten, British actress Annabelle Wallis. Best known for her work on the BBC gangster show Peaky Blinders, 32-year-old Annabelle was hand-picked by Tom to star opposite him in the upcoming reboot of the 1932 film The Mummy — and as it turns out, he got even more than he bargained for!
