Scotland will have access to millions of doses of a Covid-19 vaccine pre-ordered by the UK Government.
It is hoped a roll-out of inoculations could begin as early as December if products in development clear the final stages of trials.
The UK Government has already secured access to 300million doses from global manufacturers in anticipation of them being given the green light.
And health boards around the country are now ramping up preparations for delivering them to the public.
