Aavin's Focus On Marketing Pushes Turnover Up By ₹450 Crore

Milk major not taking competition lightly, says Managing Director
With focus on marketing its products, Aavin has raised its annual turnover by 450 crore this year compared to last year. The milk major saw a turnover of 5,900 crore in 2018-19, up from 5,450 crore in 2017-18.
The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation, whose popular brand is Aavin, has seen an increase in milk procurement. It has gone up from 29.26 lakh litres per day (LLPD) in 201718 to 33.25 LLPD in 2018-19, a 13% increase.
Consequently, milk sales in Chennai and other districts have gone up.
