Fussy Baby On Board? Here's What You Can Do About It

A little planning on the part of parents and some empathy on the part of fellow passengers could make a big difference on flights with bawling babies

Recently, a long rant by an irked traveller in the US had netizens plunging head first into that age-old debate – to fly with babies or not. The TikToker, who clearly is against having babies on board, left the Internet divided when she said: “For the love of God, please stop bringing your crying babies on flights. This was an expensive 10-hour flight and reinforces that I won’t be having kids.” (Gasp!)

While this encouraged many more baby haters to weigh in with their own crying-toddler-trauma stories, there were many others who felt these grown-ups should act like, well, grown-ups and have some empathy for parents and kids. Even before the dust settled on that one, another outraged traveller took to a social media platform to complain about how he was moved from his designated seat so a mother and baby could have it. While this debate isn’t new, it never gets too old, either.
