Who doesn’t like to be pampered, listened to, and appreciated? Most women love to have their designated go-to person for all their needs, more so during the child-bearing phase of their lives. Do you know why? Well, mainly due to the hormones. During pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period, your hormones are all over the place, and this can cause extreme mood changes.

This can even result in a mum being weepy, non-communicative, withdrawn and irritable. Which in turn, can sometimes have physiological repercussions as well— appetite loss, sleeplessness, excessive weight gain or loss, etc. If you are currently in the child-bearing phase of your life, it’s time to gather all the ammunition that you can, and rally all the support possible, as this can help you to retain your sanity, and truly enjoy this period of your life.
