Surrealism movement started with the thought that logical thinking was blocking the way of imagination. Before this, documentary and journalistic photography was more widespread where what you see is what you get. Surrealism formed an outsized number of thoughts where any shapes and any forms took imagination and abandoned dreams and mixed them with reality to supply beautiful artwork. Surrealism also played a serious role during the primary war when various publications used surreal images to capture an individual’s attention.
Let’s put some light on this in order that it’s easier for amateurs to know the topic. For instance, a photographer has a camera and needs to use it to present his or her thoughts. Now we all know that a camera captures reality. What if the person wishes to capture his or her imaginations or dreams through the camera which isn’t possible for reality? Reality, logic and reason come in the way of expressing our own thoughts and on another hand an individual never ends up brooding about it. Such stuff binds us to our world and infrequently lets us expand our imagination. Surrealism photography is thanks to overcome that.
