Peter Lindbergh: Untold Stories is an exhibition curated by Peter Lindbergh before his untimely death in 2019. Lindbergh spent two years selecting 161 images from his four decade-spanning career in which he immortalized some of the most celebrated women in fashion, cinema and beyond, including Nicole Kidman, Charlotte Rampling and Uma Thurman, as well as many of the supermodels who defined the 1990s - including Linda Evangelista and Naomi Campbell.
He worked with a Nikon F5 and Nikon 50mm f/1.4 or Nikon 85mm f/1.4 lens for the majority of his images in the days of film, and in his later years used the Nikon D4 and Nikon D5 to shoot portraits. With photographs from the early 1980s to 2019, the exhibition offers new and unexpected insights into the work of the photographer.
