Old flagship smartphone manufacturers have had their eyes firmly fixed at the ultra-premium segment with brands like Samsung moving to the one-lakh-plus space. Players like Realme and Xiaomi have upped their games to squeeze into the 50k+ space with features comparable to flagships. We were thoroughly impressed with the Realme GT, and now the brand has launched the GT 2 Pro, a true flagship killer going by the features.
Design & Build Quality
The Realme GT 2 Pro is beautifully designed, and it gives that premium feel right out of the box. The device is available in three finishes—Paper Green, Paper White and Steel Black, and we received the Paper White variant. Like the GT, this device is designed by renowned industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa, and bears his signature on the back. The paper white and paper green devices have biopolymer back, derived from paper pulp. You can scribble on this surface with a pencil and rub it off just like on paper. Well, not a very useful feature, but a novelty, nevertheless. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The phone is 8.18 mm thick and quite light at 189 g.
