Tommy Tallarico, CEO & President of Intellivision, hosted a stream about the Intellivision Amico, the upcoming console. Tommy spoke of his experience in the industry, then talked about the Amico itself. Amico means “friend” and that’s the philosophy behind the handheld console. It’s basically Couch Multiplayer: The Console, with a focus on simple to use, easy to play games that everyone can jump in on.
The Amico comes with two wireless controllers which have their own colour touchscreens. It supports up to eight players, with additional players using either Amico controllers, or mobile devices with the Amico app.
