After nearly 50 years on top of the fastest MotoGP riders, and two years supporting Team Lotto-Soudal, HJC is an industry expert at keeping the fastest riders on two wheels protected.
Its motorbike racing heritage mean HJC knows a thing or two about aerodynamic drag reduction, ventilation, comfort and safety. When Lotto-Soudal rider Victor Campenaerts rode one of it’s helmets to UCI Hour Record world record victory, HJC also stamped its authority as the maker of one of the fastest helmets in the world.
Each HJC helmet is rigorously twin tested, both in the brand’s own state-of-the-art wind tunnel laboratory and in real-life situations, enabling the highest level of performance, comfort, and fit to be achieved.
Based at its Korean headquarters, the in-house wind tunnel uses cutting-edge testing protocols for all relevant riding forces in a variety of riding conditions, including aerodynamic and ventilation airflow. From years of experience designing MotoGP helmets, HJC designers and engineers have become industry leaders in aerodynamics. Working on the principles of maximum air intake and exhaust for minimum drag, along with advanced ventilation and drag force tests, have enabled HJC to produce an elite air-cooling system, known as Ventury Dynamics, to create one of the world’s most ventilated semi-aero helmets on the market.
HJC are innovative and progressive airflow helmet engineer specialists. Its proprietary Coolpath technology, featured on some models, does away with the need for much of the inner padding, allowing cool air to circulate around your head, not just over it for enhanced cooling and heat dissipation.
