Can genuine vegan fries and burgers be as tasty as the meaty versions?

Yes, Vegan Fries And Burgers Can Be As Tasty As The Meaty Versions?

Since it was opened in 2010, Vegan Burg has been serving up meat free fast food without compromise to its horde of appreciative fans. Continually innovating on the menu, Singaporean owner Alex Tan made a strategic move and expanded with a store in San Francisco two years ago but the Singapore store remains fully committed to serving awesome meatless burgers.

THE PLACE

The original Vegan Burg store stands along Jalan Eunos, near East Coast Road, and was conceptualised as a place where people on a strict vegan diet could come to experience genuinely good burgers. Over the years, they proved good enough that even nonvegans were won over and more than half of the customers these days are actually non-vegetarians.

At its height, there were four Vegan Burg outlets in Singapore, but a change in business plans saw the brand close all but one here, and then take the brand to San Francisco. The gamble has paid off, and the single original store in Singapore maintains a strong customer base while the American branch is making a name for itself. It also features real celebrity endorsees like Chrissie Hynde, Steve Aoki, Belinda Carlisle, and even Paul McCartney. Not bad for a store that started in a little corner of Eunos.
