British roads are already too narrow for an American who hit another car on her driving test, let alone when you’re backing up a lorry.
So, after a brief honeymoon, the wheel, gears, and pedals started getting in the way and were stored, temporarily, back in their box. The weeks became months, and you can guess the rest.
