THE ART OF DANCING, SINGING, INSPIRING, AND LIFE
Farheen Nahvi
Temmora

Passion is a key ingredient of life. For Ms. T’s Music Factory creator, dancer, singer, coach, and manager Temmora, passion is the driving force behind all that she does and that is a lot.

A dancing and singing instructor at her school Arommet Academy, manager of her daughters singing group Karma, and creator of Lifetime TV’s Ms.T’s Music Factory, at any given point, Temmora is wearing so many hats, as she put it herself. Temmora is a source of comfort and inspiration for everyone finding themselves juggling different aspects of life, and those not yet confident enough to launch themselves into the world.

Healthy Root Dolls

Healthy Roots Dolls is an inspirational movement designed to help young women of color love their curly hair the way that it is and to ultimately love themselves. "I never had a doll that looked like me growing up, and the one time my parents gave me a black doll, I instantly started crying because to me, it wasn't a pretty one," confessed founder and creator Yelista Jean-Charles. "I was often shown that the standard of beauty was long straight hair and light skin."
