THE TRENCH COAT
The trench coat is a forever piece, and autumn is the best time to wear it. Lightweight and great for layering, it’s the perfect transitional piece for cooler weather. Pair it with a belt that really pops or opt for a vinyl finish if you’re looking for something a little extra.

FLUORO FEEL
This potentially garish trend is enough to intimidate the best of us. But it doesn’t seem to be going anywhere – in fact, designers have turned the wattage way up. Keep it (sort of) subtle by picking a classic item such as a slip skirt or knit top in a glow-in-the-dark shade.

THE OVERSIZED SWEATER
If there’s one item you’re probably going to live in during the winter months, it’s a cosy oversized sweater. It’s soft and roomy, and goes with everything – leggings, jeans as well as tailored trousers. Look out for chunky cable-knit detailing and interesting sleeves.
