Priyanka Borkar’s love for hair colour is evident the first time you look at her. With a splash of plum on her roots and a faded turquoise on her ends, she proves that there’s nothing like a hair colour that one can’t carry off. Her eclectic hairstyles and artistic vision display her rambunctious side, and she’s one of the few who practise what they preach. We get into the details of her journey as a hairstylist, and more.
What made you decide to become a hairstylist?
It wasn’t much of a decision really. It happened very organically. I began training and working at a very young age. I loved the energy, and working with colour and hair. Over a period of time, as I learnt more, I fell more in more love with the art of cutting hair.
