Channel your inner Stark or Lannister with hairstyle inspirations from the hottest men of GoT, says Simran Ahujaa
The Mother of Dragons says it best: “Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they're all just spokes on a wheel. This one's on top and that one's on top and on and on it spins.” But one thing stays constant—the impeccable hair of the leading men of the show. Winter is coming and with these Game of Thrones inspired hairstyles, your clients are sure to turn the heat up wherever they go.
THE SNOWSTOPPER
Jon Snow may know nothing, but we think otherwise. The fan favourite illegitimate child of Winterfell certainly knows how to look great. He may be going through the hardest time being a squire at the Wall, or fighting resurrected dead men, but his luscious locks are always perfectly in place. All GoT fans would agree that one of the most heartbreaking moments on the show would be seeing Jon Snow's hair being hacked away. This hairstyle works best with hair that stops just short of the shoulders, with a naturally wavy texture.
1 After washing and conditioning your client's hair, use a towel to lightly soak up the moisture. Do not let the hair dry completely.
2 While the hair is still damp, part it to the preferred side. Take a coin-sized amount of styling cream or wax and start scrunching the hair gently from tip to roots.
3 Repeat the step, now doing it in sections.
4 Next, volumise the look by gently running a wide-toothed comb through the hair to distribute the product evenly. Do not pull too hard as it will fluff up the curls making the hair look bushy.
5 Finish with a sea-salt spray to help maintain the the style for longer.
