Make-up notes
Shirin Merchant, Owner, Kut N Make Salon, advises to go easy with your make-up after the festive season. She notes:
- Protect your skin with a layer of moisturiser before applying any make-up
- Avoid mascara, as it’s difficult to remove
• Use a moisturising lipstick instead of a transfer-resistant one; a gloss would also do
- Use a good coverage compact instead of a cream or liquid foundation
She adds, “Don’t keep your make-up on for very long during the festive days, and remember to remove it thoroughly, especially eye make-up, after the occasion.”
