AS THE economy continues to tumble, and the cost of living spiral upwards, a chunk of money is something everyone could use right about now. But making or winning millions of rands doesn’t always guarantee an easy life, as is shown in season 2 of the documentary-reality show, I Blew It.
It follows the lives of South Africans who unexpectedly receive windfalls, going from rags to riches to spending it all within months.
From Lotto winners and life-insurance beneficiaries to former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star Benedict “Tso” Vilakazi (LEFT), participants reveal what happened to their money.
THE SHOW
I Blew It is divided into three segments: getting to know the person and learning how they received the money and how much; how the money was spent; if they have any regrets and the lessons learnt.
