As I scroll through the bounty of messages in my inbox, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of satisfaction and achievement. Coming from all over the country, each message is an expression of thanks from people who have secured a job that fits around their lifestyle through my Flexible Working People Facebook group. But it wasn’t until I first founded the group, just two years ago, that personal experience taught me how much a community like this was needed.
