Enjoying drinks this summer doesn’t mean piling on the pounds
We know alcohol isn’t healthy – but it’s not the worst thing in the world when consumed sensibly. Yet, the long summer evenings make that hard.
‘Too much alcohol can cause issues with your liver, but in moderation, the more likely issue is the calories you consume – as this can lead to weight gain,’ explains registered nutritionist Rob Hobson. ‘Food gets more appealing when you drink, so it’s a double whammy.’
