Like a lot of us, Linda Robson confesses to struggling during the lockdowns, and says she leant on food to get her through. But now that there’s light at the end of the tunnel, Linda, 63, is keen to get fit and healthy again – but promises she won’t go as far as she has in the past.
Back in 2018, fans shared their concerns after the actor lost 3st following a strict low-carb, sugar-free, no-alcohol diet. And, months later, after struggling with her mental health, Linda checked into rehab with OCD, alcoholism and depression.
Now in a happier place and able to look back, star of Birds of a Feather and Loose Women panellist Linda sees that her extreme weight loss was a reflection of how unwell she was at the time, and she says defiantly, ‘I’m back to normal.’
Lockdown weight gain
With the supermarket being the only place to go in lockdown, and takeaways a common theme in her house, it’s no surprise that Linda, like most of us, gained some weight.
‘I put on about a stone,’ she admits. ‘The highlight of my day was being able to go to the supermarket, and we ordered lots of takeaways.’
