‘It will be a make OR BREAK REUNION'

The fab four will reunite this summer for the unveiling of the Princess Diana statue to mark what would have been her 60th birthday.

Harry is due to fly to the UK to join William and Kate at Kensington Palace’s Sunken Garden on 1 July. While a source told a newspaper Meghan won’t accompany Harry, I’m told she almost certainly will.

It is hoped the event – likely to be one of the most high-profile royal engagements of the year – will finally end the rift between the brothers that has dominated the agenda for the past three years.

William and Harry commissioned the tribute to their mother in 2017, during happier times, hoping it would form a focal point for people ‘to reflect on her life and her legacy’.

Sources insist the boys hatched their plan on the 20th anniversary of their mother’s death in 2017 after feeling frustrated that there was no national memorial to her life.

Special place

It will be an emotional moment as the sculpture is unveiled in the same place where Diana played with the boys as children.
