Wearing wellies is when I'm HAPPIEST!

Through her passions for nature, wildlife and farming, TV presenter Kate Humble has built herself a 30-year career and become a household name in the process.

Familiar to millions as co-host on the long-running BBC series Animal Park, the broadcaster has appeared on more than 100 TV series as an esenter or a guest. An ever-growing tally of small-screen credits includes her Channel 5 series Escape to the Farm and A Country Life for Half the Price, for which Kate won a Scottish BAFTA in December.

It capped off an eventful year in which she was also voted on to BBC Radio 4’s annual Woman’s Hour Power List. Subtitled ‘Our Planet’, the 2020 selection recognized women who have furthered environmental causes and awareness through their work.

Humble by nature as well as by name, Kate modestly says of the achievements, ‘I feel extraordinarily lucky. I am just an ordinary woman who is curious and witters on a bit. I didn’t really deserve the BAFTA. It was all thanks to the families that we featured in the show.’
