Country star Adam Brand opens up about family, his new home and his daughter following in his footsteps

Staking out his future vegie patch, country music star Adam Brand is newly settled on his private slice of paradise in the rolling Gold Coast hinterland.

Fangally Farm – cute daughter Pepper can’t pronounce “family” just yet – is a longtime dream come true for the award-winning singer/songwriter, who moved onto the idyllic property three months ago.

“I’ve been looking for the forever home for quite a while, and I’ve finally found it,” grins the 12-time Golden Guitar legend, newly returned from an eight-month stint prospecting for ridgy-didge gold nuggets in outback WA.

“I’ve got a few acres of land, some sheds, a dam... everything you want to be able to disappear, have a few animals and grow fruit trees and stuff. I haven’t planted any vegies yet, but the chook pens are imminent, and we’ve got a dog coming soon. We’re just at the start!”

It’s a place for Adam, 51, to retreat from the spotlight, make new music and simply hang out with stunning partner and “best buddy” Nui, 40, and their mile-a-minute two-year-old, named after Iron Man’s feisty love interest Pepper Potts.
