Two baby bumps, a tantrum and a rather gargantuan faux pas were the order of the day when the British royals got together for their Easter Sunday church service.

As the family arrived at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, it became obvious that Prince William and his heavily pregnant wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, were going to break tradition by turning up unceremoniously late.

By the time the pair arrived, the Queen – who by protocol is always the last to arrive at such events – had given up waiting and gone in!

William, 35, and Kate, 36, who are expecting their third child this month, blamed their tardiness on heavy traffic.
