The Jaquar Bath+Light 11th Annual iGen Design Forum 2022 by Architect and Interiors India held on August 5, 2022, at Shangri-La, Bengaluru, was a momentous day which saw meetings of great design minds on one platform and invigorating conversations. The icing on the cake was the starry awards ceremony which felicitated Top 50 Young Architects and Interior Designers Under 40. The event, which was aired live on YouTube and Instagram, created quite a buzz on social media.
The pulsating event began with a cheery opening address by Bibhor Srivastava, Managing Director, ITP Media India. He handed over the podium to Mohit Hajela, Group Head, Business Development, Jaquar Group, to make the welcome address. Mohit Hajela spoke about the importance of creating regenerative and sustainable products and said, "In its long, 63-year-old journey, Jaquar has embraced the philosophy of the Group towards sustainable production and following norms of efficiency in every aspect - whether it is recycling, water conservation or energy generation. I am proud to say that we are a homegrown Indian multinational with a presence in 55 plus countries and being represented in 70 plus countries. Soon, we will be getting into the Guinness book of World Record for producing 15,0000 faucets a day." Addressing the designers present in the audience, he added, "We take pride in our association with the Indian designers. We have grown with each other. It's a legendary, symbiotic association."
