The adage “good things often come in small packages” describes the design of this office aptly. When Snehal Gadkari Jajoo, Principal Architect & Interior Designer at Sthetic Design Studio, took on the challenge of designing a 630 sq ft lawyer’s office in Nashik, she embraced the notion that a compact space could indeed deliver significant impact. Her vision was to create a workspace brimming with natural light, minimalist luxury, and a seamless blend of style and functionality.
EMBRACING MINIMALISM
According to Snehal, “Minimalist aesthetics with clean lines keep things simple and organised.” Thus, the design for this office draws inspiration from modern sophistication while integrating natural elements. The strategic use of natural light, thoughtfully placed plants, and carefully curated materials elevates the overall ambience, promoting tranquility and well-being within the workspace.
As visitors enter the office, they are welcomed by a thoughtfully designed reception area that establishes the tone for the rest of the environment. A muted colour palette envelops the space, while an elegantly curved reception desk, characterised by a fluted design, adds an element of sophistication.
Arched niches within the reception area showcase clever vertical storage, optimising the use of space and allowing for a visually engaging experience. Large windows flood the open workspace with light, which reflects off the pristine white flooring, creating an airy atmosphere.
