There are Hansgrohe locations on every continent. The company has production sites in Germany, France, the USA, and China. However, the company believes in staying true to its roots and thus continues to be headquartered at Schiltach in the Black Forest region since it's been founded.
A beautiful milestone wall showcases the growth of the company while an adjacent facility produces premium brand AXOR products. In the Hansgrohe experience centre, Aquademie, visitors can get to know the brand worlds of AXOR and hansgrohe with all their senses. The facility here also has a state-of-the-art research and development laboratory for the development of new and innovative products. Roughly 30 miles away from Schiltach is Hansgrohe's largest faucet and shower plant. Here, they produce up to 22,000 showers and other products every day. In the plastic technology centre, the so-called Pilot Plant, they bundle our competences in plastic production and electroplating. Also, at the Hansgrohe Offenburg location is the state-of-the-art logistics centre, from which products are delivered to the rest of the world
PROMOTING GREEN ENERGY
Especially striking is the solar tower in Offenburg, which supplies the plant with clean energy. The brands company's commitment to sustainability is well known. All their German sites are climate-neutral. Climate neutrality refers to greenhouse gas emissions from Scope 1 and 2 (direct emissions and consumed energy at the sites), according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. Wherever possible, the Hansgrohe Group actively reduces these emissions. The remaining emissions are offset by recognised and certified climate protection projects. At the beginning of the year, the international sites also switched to green electricity. The electrical energy supply is based entirely on green power. This enables annual savings of over 26,000 t CO2.
