TVS rocked the world when the company showcased the Creon a couple of years back at the Auto Expo. From then on, enthusiasts have been yearning for the concept to come alive. Now though, TVS has fulfilled that dream in the form of the X.
The X is a very different take on electric scooters and is being hailed as a crossover by the company. The scooter impresses with a sharp design which is unlike any other electric scooter in the market. The front end is endowed with a sleek front apron which has multiple layers and looks extremely sporty. The LED headlamp sits between the two body panels and features what the company calls a tower design. The X also gets cleverly positioned cornering lamps which light up when the scooter tilts over a certain angle. The profile is where the X justifies its crossover theme. The floorboard cavity houses the battery pack and charging pod and flanking it are large floorboard sections for the rider to place his or her feet. The rear section is dominated by the aluminum chassis on which panels are bolted. The tail light is also a small and sleek LED unit that lights up bright and blends in extremely well with the design. To keep the design as smooth as possible, designers have integrated the rear grabrails within the plastic bodywork. The pillion footpegs are also retractable and merge beautifully into the bodywork of the scooter.
