BOSSYPANTS Tina Fey smells blood in the water as ratings spiral at her old stomping grounds Saturday Night Live — and the Mean Girls mastermind is angling to oust former boss Lorne Michaels and take control of the sinking show, insiders spill.

Producer Michaels, 78, insists he has no imminent plans to retire from the NBC comedy series he created in 1975 — but tipsters say 30 Rock alum Tina, 53, has long had her eye on the bigwig’s illustrious job! 

“It’s also no secret SNL hasn’t approached the popularity of even 20 years ago,” whispers a network insider. “That has Tina sensing opportunity!”
