Danica Taylor had the sympathy of anyone who has been single and struggled to find their Mr or Ms Right during her time in the Love Island villa.
The stunning 21-year-old dancer was rejected by boys Luca Bish, Davide Sanclimenti, Jay Younger, Josh Le Grove and Billy Brown, before finally finding happiness with FC Halifax Town footballer Jamie Allen during her final week on the show.
And when they arrive at our London studio, it’s clear their chemistry is still sizzling as they giggle their way through posing for our shoot and tell us there have already been some trips to ‘the salon’!
While the pair have yet to make their relationship official, Jamie, 27, says their bond is getting stronger each day and Danica is already thinking about how beautiful their children will be. We can’t disagree!
Danica and Jamie could be forgiven for feeling the pressure as they begin their relationship outside of the villa, but they are taking it all in their stride.
“We both knew what we were getting into with Love Island,” he tells us. “It’s expected, we’re excited to carry it on.”
Danica adds, “Because we do genuinely have a connection, I don’t feel pressured. I think we’re very real people and if we’re not feeling it, we would be honest.”
Talk also turns to making their relationship work now they are back on home soil. Danica lives in Leicester, while striker Jamie is based over two hours away in Manchester. She explains that she’s looking to move and would likely relocate to be closer to him.
