Like the rest of the boy-band-loving nation, we couldn’t put into Words how excited we were to hear that Boyzone’s Shane Lynch was joining the cast of The Real Housewives Of Cheshire alongside his wife of 15 years, Sheena.
And as we try not to envy the couple when we speak to them from their sun-soaked Portugal family holiday, 43-year-old Sheena tells us she feels “more confident” as she returns to the show for a second series, with her husband now in tow.
“I know the girls a bit more, so it is different from that angle,” she says. “I’ve definitely got a closer relationship with the other girls. I’m having a really good time.”
After almost 30 years in showbiz, 46-year-old Shane admits he’s numb to the drama of the show, which regularly includes explosive rows between the ladies.
“I think friendships are just heightened in many situations. I think it’s an interesting group of friends,” he muses.
Here, the couple, who are parents to Billie, 13, and Marley, nine, tease the “growth” viewers will see the Housewives go through this series, and Shane spills the advice he’d give to Ronan Keating’s son Jack after his spell on Love Island...
