Katie Price has had a turbulent time lately – and that’s saying something. You could argue that the former glamour model leads a roller-coaster existence at the best of times between court battles, house moves and the ups and downs of her colourful love life.
After a brush with the threat of prison, which must surely have shaken the mother-of-five, a source has claimed that recent events have definitely stopped the star in her tracks.
Katie, whose £1.5 million ‘Mucky Mansion’ in West Sussex has been sold just weeks after she was evicted for failing to make mortgage payments, has had a huge wake-up call, the source claimed, which has led the 46-year-old to vow to be more sensible in future.
“Katie has been given her last chance now – the judge in court made that very clear,” said the source. “There aren’t any more excuses left for her and she knows that now. It’s been a real wake-up call and really worrying for her. The tide has turned on her. The bankruptcy stuff has been going on for a long time, but this time has been really scary.
“Being arrested at an airport and being spoken to by the judge took it up a level. She knows she’s on her last chance now. Even for Katie, who has dealt with a lot in the past, that was a real shock.”
After skipping a court hearing relating to her £760,000 bankruptcy, an arrest warrant was issued on 30 July.
