While all eyes are normally on the courts at the annual Wimbledon tennis tournament, the stands can provide somewhat of a distraction for the celebrity spotters among us. And this year was no exception.
It was a family affair for David Beckham, 48, who took a seat in the royal box at Centre Court to watch Britain’s Jodie Burrage play Russia’s Daria Kasatkina.
Joined by his mother Sandra, David was dressed to impress in a beige suit, teamed with a Ralph Lauren art deco tie and matching pocket handkerchief.
With no signs of a sore head after a night celebrating his 24th wedding anniversary with Victoria, David also met tennis legend Roger Federer, who he affectionately called “Mr Wimbledon”.
Sitting nearby were Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, 46, and his fiancée Katy Perry, 38. The couple, who are parents to Daisy Dove, who turns three next month, clearly enjoyed their day as they smooched in the Wimbledon stands.
Amanda Holden made a stylish entrance to the tournament choosing a long white dress with a daring side split to ensure she stood out from the crowd. The 52-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge is a regular at the annual event and invited her model daughter Lexi, 17, as her plus one, writing on her social media, “Wimbledon with my gorgeous Lexi.”
