YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Sharon's Mysterious Gift

At Crimson Lights, Sharon shows Nick a bottle of champagne that was delivered to her with the unsigned message, “Memories are what life is made of.”

Nick takes a closer look and points out something interesting. “When Sharon received the champagne, she was too preoccupied with figuring out who sent it that she didn’t notice a stain on the label,” explains Executive Producer/Head Writer Josh Griffith. “Sharon is startled when Nick mentions the stain looks like blood, as it only intensifies the mystery of this random delivery.”

Nick admits he’s not a forensic expert, so the stain is probably not really blood. He surmises that it could be a red wine stain from the store it came from. However, when Sharon examines it more closely, she doesn’t think his theory holds weight. “At first, Sharon wasn’t concerned when she received the champagne without knowing who sent it to her,” notes Griffith. “However, Nick’s suspicions lead Sharon to think this mystery gift is not as innocent as she originally thought when first received.”

Nick doesn’t think it’s anything to worry about, but Sharon is definitely unnerved. “Sharon decides to throw out the champagne, thinking this will put an end to her uneasy feelings,” teases Griffith. “Little does she know this gift is just the beginning of a very wild ride.”
