IS IT OVER?

A mid buzz they are on the brink of a break-up, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were spotted together for the first time in almost 50 days, putting on a united front for a school event on May 16. “Ben did not look happy to see J.Lo as she arrived at a show for one of his kids,” an observer told the Daily Mail of the frosty reunion. “When he saw her get out of her car, they did not hug or kiss.” A day later, Affleck was snapped without his wedding ring.

“Nothing would have stopped them coming together for the kids,” a source told blogger Perez Hilton.

But the once-loved-up A-listers have seemingly been leading separate lives for months. “They’re not always on the same page,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “They both have so much going on between taking care of their families and their work commitments and it can be a lot for them.”

As co-chair of the 2024 Met Gala in New York on May 6, Lopez was noticeably missing her plus one, with Affleck reportedly busy filming The Accountant 2, but a night before his wife's big event he was available to attend the live taping of the Netflix roast of his friend Tom Brady in Los Angeles. The high-profile couple's lack of joint appearances they were last snapped together holding hands in New York City in March has stoked divorce chatter about the couple, who famously dated from 2002 to 2004 before rekindling their romance in 2021.

"Jen and Ben are having issues in their marriage," an insider spilled to Us Weekly. "They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour."
