MATH FEVER!

Olly owl, Lily bear and Coco cat came to play outside, so Monty pushed the maths book away and ran to play with them.

Lily said, "I can't wait for the exams to be over! And then our basketball tournament will start. We will defeat Blue Forest, right!"

Monty said in horror, "I have maths fever," and sat down on the bench.

"But you're a star!" Coco wondered.

"He is a basketball star, alright, but his maths marks are bad all the time," said Olly.

Lily, an allrounder, told them, "If he fails any subject, he can't keep his spot in the team."

"Oh, no! We want him in the team. We want our team to win!" said Coco terrified.

"My brain jumps up and down like a basketball on seeing numbers!" Monty cried. "I open the book and feel feverish."

"We should help him," whispered Olly.

They all gathered in Monty's room to help. Basketballs were lying around on the floor. Coco and Lily tripped a few times.

"Why are these basketballs on the floor everywhere?" asked Lily.

"So, I can practise any time I want," replied Monty, getting a big bowl of banana chips for everyone.

"These are the best banana chips," said Coco licking her paw.
