"Piyoli, if you don't take your lunchbox, will you stay hungry all day?" Mummy asked.
Piyoli replied, "Mummy, I'll come home and eat properly."
Piyoli didn't even have breakfast properly in the morning. He barely drank milk, so Mummy used to give him a packed lunchbox. But now, he was refusing to take that too.
Mummy said, "It's not right to stay hungry for so long. You come home from school famished, eat heartily, and then you start feeling sleepy. You can neither do your homework nor remember your lessons. At that time, you fall asleep, and then in the evening, it's time for you to play. You only sit down to do your homework at night and then wake up late in the morning."
Seeing Mummy speak like this, Piyoli said, Mummy, you just keep on talking... Please, listen to me."
By then, Papa had also come back home. Piyoli stopped talking when he came.Papa had heard the entire conversation.
He asked Piyoli, "Why don't you want to take your lunch?”
Piyoli said, "Papa! Someone has threatened me not to tell you anything, but I won't listen to his threats. I'll tell you why I don't want to take the lunchbox to school."
"I told you, right? There is nothing to hide from Mummy and Papa, not even when someone gives you a threat or a promise of secrecy," Mummy told him lovingly.
