Adventurer Bear Grylls tracks down a host of celebrities in an epic survival challenge
BEAR country

Twelve famous faces tackle a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse when they fly out to the Costa Rica jungle for Bear Grylls’ all-new reality series, Celebrity Bear Hunt.

Hosted by Holly Willoughby, the big-budget eight-part series sees the celebrities split into two teams as they live together in a wooden lodge, learn essential survival skills and go head-to-head in a series of extreme challenges.

The camp mates, who underperform are sent to the Bear Pit, which is described as a giant escape room containing crocodiles, snakes and scorpions, where they are hunted down by Grylls over the hostile terrain.

With Grylls deciding which celebrity has eliminated each week, who will be the last person standing? We chatted down to Grylls, 50, for an exclusive interview.

Tell us more about the series...

It’s the most original format I’ve ever done. I’m a fan of the true guiding and helping celebrities through the wild in my previous shows, but I’ve never had to track them and chase them down. It was very full-on for both me and them!

What challenges do the teams face?
